When people ask me what I do for a living I tell them I’m a lifestyle entrepreneur.  This question prompted me to find out how others describe my profession and after finding several great definitions, I decided to share two of my favorites.

Businessdictionary.com nailed it: “An individual that creates a business with the purpose of altering their personal lifestyle and not for the sole purpose of making profits. A lifestyle entrepreneur focuses more on the life rewards provided to people that enjoy and have a passion for what they are doing. There is a possibility that the business will do particularity well since the individual has a passion for what he/she is doing.”

According to The Lifestyle Entrepreneur blog “it’s about turning your interests and passions into products and services that serve others and support a lifestyle of freedom and opportunity. It is about learning what you need to know, to do the things you love to do, so you can ultimately be the person you know you can be.”

I would like to add to the above that it’s about realizing that you can have it all and manifesting that reality: a career you love, personal fulfillment and financial freedom. Here are some things you can do while your business is working for you. Here’s to being a lifestyle entrepreneur!
