I learned a lesson today about the importance of always keeping your dream alive.  After my book was published in the United States in 2014, I had my doubts that anyone would be interested in what I had to say. As most of us are, I’m my worst critic. As I reread its contents in hardcover, I thought that I could have done a much better job.  I wish I had done this or done that.  You know…

How often do we second-guess ourselves?  It’s one of the worst things that we can do because it splits our energy keeping us from focusing on our next step.  When we have an inspiration to do something, we should move forward and let the Universe do the rest.

Despite my uncertainties about the book’s design, its layout and the content after it came out in print, I contacted a foreign publicist to see if there would be any interest abroad. Today, I received the answer in the form of a box containing two-dozen copies of my book published in Poland that is now available in bookstores.

Life has a way of making us loose confidence at times.  Unexpected circumstances can shake our beliefs but it’s important to get back up, dust ourselves off and keep going.  When our insecurities keep us from moving forward, the best thing that we can do is to listen to motivational speakers, hang around inspirational people and, mostly, stay away from naysayers.  I had a few of those along the way when my book first came out.

Life is meant to have challenges and contrasts. How else can we grow and how else can we define what we want unless we know what we don’t want?

To achieve anything, you must tune out negative talk, especially from yourself. Undesirable inner conversation is harmful to your well-being and to your growth. If you want the best advice from someone, ask yourself. You see, we have within us a guiding system, our intuition, that always points us in the right direction.  It comes in the form of a gut feeling, a nudging or a desire. Often we drown out or dismiss this internal voice thinking that other people’s counsel is more important.

Have you ever been told that you couldn’t do something?  What was it?  Who said it and did you go along?  Why?

All of us have conversations with ourselves.  What story are we telling?  It’s important to check our thoughts. If we repeat a dialog long enough, eventually it becomes a belief.  Beliefs are very difficult to let go of. When our beliefs are challenged we become cynical, angry and fearful keeping us from realizing our potential. Our inner talks should always be healthy, nurturing and growth provoking.

It’s important that we envision our dreams until they become realities.  I’ve heard this said slightly differently:  fake it until you make it.  Don’t wait for your dream to get here to be happy.  Be happy now with the thought, focus and hang in there long enough to see your dreams materialize.

We are vibrational beings.  The frequency and energy that we put out will be the same as the one we receive back, so it might as well be only the best. Put out intentional ones that will help you to materialize your yearnings. Remember when you were a child?  You day dreamed about being someone or doing something.  Until you achieve that, you will always feel like there’s something missing in your life.

What are you doing to keep your dream alive? It’s your vision and only you can make it happen. What do you have left to accomplish?  More importantly, what is keeping you from a reaching your goal and how can we help you get there?

I leave you with a one-minute video in the hopes that your dreams are unfolding right now.
